I thought I'd try my hand at writing a blog. I'll keep this short as I'm not really sure how this works.
I'm struggling with painting right now. Going through a phase of uncertainty about what I want to paint. This is always the most difficult phase. Once I get going I'm fine, but I just finished a show of abstract painting, and I'm not sure that is what I want to keep on with. My previous work was landscape based but I've gradually become more and more abstract. I'm at a crossroads right now. Do I want to continue in this path of abstraction or return to the safe shores of representation?
